Our Board of Directors

The San Fernando Youth Organization (SFYO) Board of Directors is made up of dedicated leaders, educators, mentors, and professionals who not only serve the community—but come from the very communities we support.

Our board members were raised in the San Fernando Valley and understand firsthand the challenges, barriers, and realities that many youth and families face every day. Today, they have become professionals, educators, advocates, and leaders who are committed to giving back to the same communities that helped shape them. Their connection to this work is deeply personal.

At SFYO, we believe it is important for young people to see leaders who reflect resilience, growth, accountability, and purpose. Our board members bring both professional expertise and lived understanding, allowing them to lead with compassion, cultural awareness, and a genuine commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation.

The role of our board is crucial to SFYO’s mission and growth. Their leadership, guidance, and dedication help ensure that our organization remains community-driven, youth-centered, and focused on creating meaningful impact. Together, they help shape the vision, strengthen our programs, and continue building pathways of support, mentorship, and opportunity for youth and families across the San Fernando Valley.

At SFYO, our board represents more than leadership—they represent hope, community, and the belief that giving back can help change lives.
